We must prepare with the revolution of education, which will be unavoidable

if we want to face the new conditions of understanding and controlling them.

Without a completely new approach in education, our youth will not

1. School of Peace through Harmonious Education (SPHE) as the main instrument to implement the GHA-IP Mission and Programme

Peace through harmonious education - it is the mission and conscious way to harmonious peace in the region for GHA-IP. This organization needs a universal tool for implementation of the basic project "Israel - Palestine: Harmonization through education instead of militarization,” and its work Program. Such a universal tool that connects the theoretical vision and practical implementation is the "School of Peace through harmonious education" (SPHE). This is system's kernel of the work Program.

This school aims to become the first educational institution of harmonious education in the region. In the future, this school may grow into the Academy of Harmony and give rise to other schools of this educational direction: family, preschool, professional, etc.

SPHE is oriented primarily to youth of Israel and Palestine at the age of 10 to 35 years. The main goal of this school is: to form at this youth the harmonious peace worldview and cooperation between the two neighboring nations to exclude the appearance and kindling the hatred and antagonism between them. To achieve this goal is possible only by a new, harmonious, content of the common curriculum and a new, harmonious, organization of educational process.

Harmonious organization of the educational process in SPHE supposes the two basic requirements:

1. Balance (equality) between Israelis and Palestinians in each training association: class, group, team, etc., that will provide them with making of positive skills of permanent constructive dialogue with each other in the learning process, and

2. Maximizing activity of students in the learning process through various forms of the command groups (teams) to address the entire spectrum of learning tasks in all subjects of the curriculum that also provide the most favorable conditions for mutual knowledge and joint action in the common interests of harmonious peace and harmonization of the relationships.

However, no the most harmonious organization of educational process would not provide students with the harmonious worldview without the corresponding, balanced, contents and filling of all disciplines/subjects in the curriculum. Harmonious education, forming the worldview of harmonious peace is ensured, primarily, by the curriculum proper contents.

2. SPHE Curriculum

Birth of a harmonious civilization defines the basic educational task for the 21st century in the region: to learn harmony and building a harmonious society in Israel and Palestine, regardless of their population living in one or two states.

The general goal of SPHE and every teacher in it is: to ensure the formation of the worldview of harmonious peace and its conscious joint building by the means of each discipline/subject in curriculum. These subjects of harmonious education are divided into two main classes: fundamental and applied. The duration of fundamental disciplines is within 60-120 school hours. The duration of the applied disciplines is within 20-40 school hours.

Within this general goal is allocated at a minimum of 22 subjects of the curriculum in SPHE harmonious education and the minimum number of teachers for them:

Fundamental disciplines/subjects:

- History of social harmony and civil peace: Numa Pompilius and similar historical examples

(Charles Mercieca and 2-3 historians)

- Alphabet of social harmony: 20 fundamental elements (Leo Semashko and 2-3 sociologists)

- World philosophy of harmony: European with Pythagoras, Chinese with Confucius, Indian with

Vedas, Jewish and Arabic (Leo Semashko, Laj Utreja and 2-3 philosophers)

- Harmony of world religions, especially Judaism and Islam (Rudolf Siebert and 2-3 teachers)

- Theory of a harmonious civilization and its building as applied to the region (Leo Semashko and

2-3 sociologists)

- Statistics of social harmony (Leo Semashko and 2-3 sociologists)

- Culture of harmonious peace, its spiritual values and the theories of eternal peace (Ernesto Kahan,

Leo Semashko and 2-3 teachers)

- Mathematics of harmony (Alexey Stakhov and 2-3 Mathematics)

- Hebrew and Arabic languages (4-6 teachers)

Applied disciplines/subjects:

- Experience of the harmonious intercultural communications in CARE (Ghassan Abdallah and 2-3 teachers)

- Experience of the harmonious interfaith meetings between Jews and Arabs (Yehuda Stolov and 2-3

teachers)

- Experience of the harmonious dialogs between Jews and Arabs in Mepeace (Eyal Raviv and 2-3 teachers)

- Poetry, literature and art of harmony (Ernesto Kahan and 2-3 teachers)

- Linguistic Harmony through Esperanto (Renato Corsetti, Katherine Shabbat and 2-3 teachers)

- Harmonious Civilization Universal Declaration (Leo Semashko and 2-3 teachers)

- Declaration of Religious Harmony in Singapore (Leo Semashko and 2-3 teachers)

- Harmonious leadership and management (Leo Semashko and 2-3 economists)

- Pedagogy and Organization of harmonious education (Leo Semashko and 2-3 teachers)

- Spiritual Activism: the ethics and values of harmony (Nina Meyerhof, and 2-3 teachers)

- Psychology and harmony of the individual (Leo Semashko and 2-3 psychologist)

- Breathing technique as a way to harmonize the individual (Laj Utreja and 2-3 teachers)

- Harmonization of democracy, the State and Law (Leo Semashko and 2-3 jurists)

The shown persons in parentheses are the GHA members, scholars and professors, who can act both as visiting lecturers and as consultants of local teachers. The proposed list of academic disciplines of harmonious education will change in time and space. SPHE Curriculum may vary on the different stages of training from 1 to 5 years depending from the level of training of students and forms of learning: daytime, evening and correspondence, and also online.

In developing this curriculum and for its dissemination in the media of Israel and Palestine, we could create the TV Program: "Israel - Palestine: The Future – is a Harmonious Civilization or Eternal War?" on the basis of the corresponding GHA TV project, translated into Hebrew: .

3. SPHE base: Ghassan Abdallah’s CARE and Yehuda Stolov’s IEA

The first training, staffing and student SPHE base are two educational organizations in the region:

1. Ghassan Abdallah’s Center for Applied Research in Education (CARE) in East Jerusalem and

2. Yehuda Stolov’s Interfaith Encounter Association (IEA) in Jerusalem.

Both organizations have long existed and have wide experience of teaching, education and cultural cooperation between Israelis and Palestinians. Therefore, these organizations can provide a first set of students in SPHE in 40-60 people. Mypeace Organization, uniting thousands of young Israelis and Palestinians can assist in the formation of the required number of students.

These organizations also have many contacts with teachers from both sides and may invite them to teach at SPHE after appropriate training by the GHA professors. These organizations can also provide learning process the required auditoriums at the first stage.

4. SPHE theoretical and informational ground

SPHE information-theoretic base, in the broad cycle of its disciplines/subjects, is very diverse and big volume. A variety of theoretical approaches to social harmony is integrated and generalized into the GHA program book "Harmonious Civilization" (St. Petersburg, 2009, address is below). It represents the first, and therefore far from perfection and is open for further development, scientific and theoretical model of a harmonious civilization, including the alphabet, language and thought of social harmony. To this book abut the GHA projects and other books of global harmony (them list see below). Some of them have been translated into Hebrew and Arabic. All of them constitute the information base for SPHE, the library of which can be equipped with dozens of copies of the most these books for students use.

5. Steps to create SPHE

The basic steps for creating SPHE are:

1. Discussion and approval of the draft of this school in GHA-IP.

2. Discussion and approval of the draft of this school by the GHA members.

3. Preparation of the SPHE Charter and other legal documents for it.

4. Preparation of the necessary initial training base for SPHE.

5. Admission to SPHE.

6. Invitation of the teachers from both of the region and of the GHA and its collective members.

7. Make up an estimate for SPHE on the years, starting from the fall of 2011.

8. Preparation of the letters to various international foundations to finance SPHE.

The estimated start of the SPHE work: September-November 2011.

6. SPHE importance

What is the significance of this school? It appears as the first conscious milestone at the frontier of civilizations in the social space and time today. on the one hand, at the frontier of the historical civilizations: the dying, militaristic, industrial, and only born in 2009, peace and harmonious civilization. on the other hand, at the frontier of local civilizations: European (or, more broadly - West) and Muslim, which are in a military confrontation over 60 years in this region. Therefore, peacemaking and spiritual significance of this school have colossal importance not only for the region but for humankind.

This school also appears on the boundary of the two principal systems of education. on the one hand, the traditional, industrial, one-dimensional and narrowly professional, is not capable to form a peace vision and behavior among youth. on the other hand, new, harmonious, multi-dimensional, is aimed at establishing peace outlook and behavior of youth. Therefore, this school marks a transition and puts the new age of harmonious spiritual Enlightenment.

This school is a transitional bridge across these borders, through the appropriate deep chasm separating in the very risky area of conflict where it's needed most. Therefore, here requires the concentration of the most powerful intellectual, spiritual and civic potential. Can the GHA fulfill this mission and to solve this complex social problem of achieving peace on the way of harmonious education of generations? The answer to this question will give the time. But the only statement of this task has great importance for the mobilization of peacemaking movement, and will serve as a model for many similar educational attempts in the future.

The importance of this school as the first swallow of harmonious education in the most dangerous military region determines the high mission and responsibility of all and everyone who participates in the creation and development of this school.

GHA President
