The period now ending is the span of 600 years, since around 1500 when the colonial system began, because even after the nominal independence of many countries in the Global South, colonialism in its modern form--namely the unfair credit and trade relations--continued to exist. It is only now through the emergence of a strong combination of countries united in the BRICS+, constituting a “tectonic shift”*, which are rapidly expanding, that the optimistic outlook of Dr. King concerning the curvature of the universe turns out to be true. But also the forecast of my late husband, the American statesman and economist, Lyndon LaRouche, which he made presciently in 1971, that the neoliberal system would inevitably fail and would need to be replaced by a just new world economic order focused on the industrial development of the countries of the Global South, has turned out to be in cohesion with that idea of the innate character of our universe. •The biggest challenge, which remains to be overcome, apart from the danger of an escalation into a nuclear confrontation between the two largest nuclear powers which would end humanity, is the danger of the world getting divided into two separate blocs, which would be driven by the futile attempt to maintain a world domination which is no longer possible. Geopolitics was the main cause for two world wars in the 20th Century, and this mistaken conception of the world as a zero-sum game must be overcome for ever with the idea of a completely new paradigm of international relations. • In Europe after 150 years of religious warfare, of which the 30 Years War was only the final phase, the warring parties realized, that nobody would live to enjoy the victory if the fighting would continue. In the Peace of Westphalia they agreed on the principles which established the basis for peace. The most important of which, which was really the beginning of the international law of the peoples, was the idea, that any peace agreement must take into account the interest of the other, of all others. The only save way to overcome the present strategic crisis would therefore be to establish a new security and development architecture, which would include the security interest of every nation on the planet, and also eliminate all obstacles to their development. The ideas of Mahatma Gandhi of nonviolence, of Martin Luther King of peaceful direct action, and of Lyndon LaRouche of physical economy are more actual and urgent then ever before--but they are also more powerful than the drivel of their bellicose opponents. BRICS+, который ведет борьбу за новую экономическую систему. Период, который в настоящее время подходит к концу, составляет 600 лет, примерно с 1500 года, когда началась колониальная система, потому что даже после номинальной независимости многих стран на мировом юге колониализм остался в современной форме, а именно: несправедливый кредит и торговые отношения. Но также и прогноз моего покойного мужа, американского государственного деятеля и экономиста Линдона Ларуша, который он предсказывал в 1971 году, что неолиберальная система неизбежно потерпит неудачу и должна быть заменена новым мировым экономическим порядком, ориентированным на промышленное развитие. Глобальный Юг оказался един с этой идеей врожденного характера нашей вселенной.
• Самая большая проблема, которую еще предстоит преодолеть, помимо опасности эскалации в ядерную конфронтацию между двумя крупнейшими ядерными державами, которые положат конец человечеству, - это опасность того, что мир разделен на два отдельных блока, что будет продолжаться. Попытка поддерживать мировое господство, которое больше не возможно - бесполезно. Геополитика была главной причиной двух мировых войн в 20-м веке, и эта ошибочная концепция мира как игры с нулевой суммой должна быть преодолена навсегда с идеей совершенно новой парадигмы международных отношений. • В Европе после 150 лет религиозной войны, из которой 30-летняя война была лишь последним этапом, воюющие стороны поняли, что никто не будет жить, чтобы насладиться победой, если боевые действия будут продолжаться.
