Deep Concern and Condemnation of Attack

on School Children / Iran

Dear Colleague,

         I am pleased to share that I have been nominated as Chairman of the Child Protection Committee of the Lahore Bar Association for the term 2026–2027.

         Child protection encompasses both the prevention of and response to violence, abuse, exploitation, and neglect, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children. In this capacity, I intend to actively engage in addressing a broad spectrum of critical issues, including:

Physical, sexual, emotional, and psychological abuse of children

Trafficking and exploitation

Hazardous forms of child labour

Juvenile justice and children in conflict with the law

The impact of HIV/AIDS o­n children

Child marriage and related harmful practices

         I'm interested in learning more about your work in this field. Collaboration and sharing expertise are essential to addressing these complex challenges. Your guidance and support would be highly valued.

         I would appreciate it if you could kindly include me in your mailing list and keep me informed of any upcoming trainings, workshops, or conferences o­n child rights, whether organised by your organisation or through partner networks.

         Я рад сообщить, что я назначен председателем Комитета по ащите детей Коллегии адвокатов Лахора на срок 2026–2027 гг.

         Защита детей включает в себя как предотвращение, так и реагирование на насилие, жестокое обращение, эксплуатацию и пренебрежение, обеспечивая безопасность и благополучие всех детей. В этом качестве я намерен активно участвовать в решении широкого спектра важных проблем, включая:

Физическое, сексуальное, эмоциональное и психологическое насилие над детьми

Торговля людьми и эксплуатация

Опасные формы детского труда

Ювенальная юстиция и дети, находящиеся в конфликте с законом

Влияние ВИЧ/СПИДа на детей

Детские браки и связанные с ними вредные практики

         Я заинтересован в том, чтобы узнать больше о вашей работе в этой области. Сотрудничество и обмен опытом необходимы для решения этих сложных проблем. Ваше руководство и поддержка будут высоко оценены.
